  •  What are Co-constructive tools?

Co-constructive tools are tools to support students' construction of some tangible projects as a manifestation of their construction of knowledge.
                                            OR
It is applications that support the construction of knowledge through a shared understanding.

Examples: electronic whiteboarding or document conferencing, blog, moodle, etc...

  • Importance of co-construction

  1. co-edit
  2. communication 
  3. enhance the collaborative learning environment
  4. high-level cognitive processes-explanation, problem-finding, problem-solving
  5. active and intentional learning
  6. identifying and developing expertise

  • Integration with lesson 

1.  Students can use constructive tools to work cooperatively and construct a shared understanding of 
     new knowledge.
2.  Students can use electronic whiteboard where students may post notices to a shared document or 
    whiteboard.
