Situating Tool
- What is situating tool?
Situating tools is a system which situates users in an environment where they may experience the context and happenings.Example: simulations, virtual reality (VR), MUDs (Multi-User Domains or Dungeons), MOO, etc...
Virtual realities as Situating Tools are an extension of computer-simulated 3-D environments. To experience the VR world, usually, a user would need to wear a head-mount display.
- Integration with lessons
It creates situations, which student experiences in real life. So, instead of showing fragmented pieces of information about Africa, the teacher can take students on a trip to a MOO about Africa where these fragmented pieces of information are organized in an authentic way.Concept:

Procedures:
Step by step to construct square in Geogebra
- First click on Geogebra icon from the desktop
- Draw two points A and B using the New Point Tool
- Draw the line segment AB using the segment between the two-point tool
- Click on the perpendicular line and then click on the line (AB)
- Draw the line by clicking the A
- Do the same for B
- Click on the Circle
- Click on the circle with the center through point
- From A draw a circle through B using the Circle with Centre through a Point tool
- Click on Point Tool to create point C
- Construct a perpendicular line from point C
- Click on Point Tool to make a point D
- Draw the line segments AC, CD, and DA using the segment between Two Points
- Hide the circles by right-clicking them and deselecting Show Object.
- Then click on show object
- Do the same for perpendicular lines as well
